What’s your favorite thing about Engage Albany?
Being able to see God work in a part of our country that has been written off as unchurched, unreached, and otherwise undesirable. It is super encouraging to be able to serve where others won’t.
What are your hobbies?
I love to draw, play music, read, and write. I’ve kept a blog for the last 10 years. I also love music and collect vinyl, cassettes, and cds of all varieties of genres.
Favorite Book?
I love fiction and non-fiction and am usually in the middle of a couple books of different genres. I’m a big fan of Raymond Chandler, Tad Williams, Keats, and Poe as well as the church fathers, Spurgeon, Owens, and of course “Uncle” Tim Keller.
What Is Your Claim To Fame?
Anyone who knows me has heard a story that starts with the disclaimer, “This happened before I was a believer.” The following is not one of them:
While working for a large medical institution in 2018 doing medical billing, I assisted both Richard Gere and his wife with processing a medical claim.
