It’s been over five years since Jesus first started moving amongst us to see His Church built at Engage Albany. From day one we’ve put a high value on a simple–yet otherworldly–concept: if Christians open up their homes and tables to their neighbors it creates a ripe environment for people to meet Jesus. This simple act of hospitality is a radical notion in our world. Not surprisingly, you see it often in the ministry of Jesus as well.
Did you know the ratio of feasting to fasting in Scripture is 7:1!
Did you know that Jesus came eating and drinking and this concept is scandalous!
In June and July we’ll be spending a few months in the Gospels exploring this concept: simple hospitality and table fellowship in the life of Jesus. What would you say to Him if He was at your table?
