Pray Without Ceasing

For the month of August, 2022, we wanted to encourage our church to go deep in prayer. Resting and Jesus while simultaneously seeking Him in prayer are not mutually exclusive ideas. We are asking Jesus to give us rest as we finish out summer and then head into the fall and all the craziness of that season with a renewed joy in Jesus that would be contagious in our lives and others.

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Don’t stifle the Spirit. Don’t despise prophecies, but test all things. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
